Ardor installed the piping and flue gas ducts for Turku Energia pellet heating plant. The scope also included PED documentation (pressure equipment safety) and NDT inspections of the piping. The client was Renewa Oy.

The plant has a capacity of 40 megawatts. On completion it was projected to cut oil use by 5,000 tonnes, raise the share of renewables in district heat production by around 2.5 percentage points and reduce CO₂ emissions by an estimated 15,000 tonnes per year.
